At summer weekends from early July till late August, the streets, squares, churches and yards in Szentendre turn into venues of theatre performances, concerts, children’s programmes and cultural heritage preserving events. The backbone of the nearly two-month long series of events are theatre performances, including the performances of Szentendre Summer Theatre and co-production opening night shows. The half a dozen performance venues in the town centre all have different profiles, so large theatre performances, monodramas, small-stage shows, concerts and children’s performances all have their own venues.
